Anyone know how many skulls there are in the game? How many have you found and how far are you into the game?

Good question. I had 9 by the end of the game, but I might have missed some.

I haven't found them all but one that I think is easy to miss is

the one which seems to randomly occur when digging up a grave in the cemetery. On my first play I dug all the graves and got junk and skeletons to fight; on my second I got a skull and a Tome of Leadership! Highly recommend save scumming that part.

When you dig up a grave, a random element is chosen from the following list:
- Sack containing bread, cheese, and a burrow rat shank
- 8 pellets
- Healing potion
- Antivenom
- Frost bomb
- Skull
- Leather gloves
- Undead x8
Once an item is chosen, it won't be chosen again, so you can only get one skull. Are you certain you got a tome of leadership from a grave? I'm pretty sure there's only one of those in the game!

I thought it might be a bug or something because it's obviously a VERY powerful item for that part of the game, but I'm honestly pretty sure that I dug it up in the grave that's in an enclosed area with a fence around it. If not from a grave then it was in a treasure chest but I'm pretty certain it was in the cemetery. There was a Tome and another item as well. If not from the grave then where else would I get a Tome of Leadership? Where is it normally found?

One of the treasure chests has that tome in it.
And as far as I can tell the chest s are randomized. I got lucky and found that tome in my first chest dig in the forest.
