size download

I would like to know how big the download of lg2 is?
so I scon later times knows what to expect.

Steam lists 1131 MB as the size of the installation.
The download itself might be less, depending on automatic file decompression after the download.

HB: 736.3 MB
GOG: 705.7 MB (game installer) + 8 MB (manual + wallpaper + graph paper)

How come it's so different?

I suppose mostly due to different compression methods and different installers used.
