For all future designers: I have put a zip file of the "core assets" online so that you can download them and use them in your draft dungeons. Everything in this folder is a complete draft and might change, but it will hopefully help you to build a room with beds and stuff in knowing that those assets will be in the ORRR3.

Is it just me or is this file really empty??

Empty? Dropbox shows it as 1.7Mb?

The file was uploaded by Duncan's request (Quote: "Is it possible to download now a version (even if it's not the final one) of table,bed, counter top and book shelve?") and contains all of the "core assets" we're using in the ORRR3 to date. There is no .dungeon_editor file, as it's intended to be used in your own test dungeon where you build your room before integrating it with the main dungeon.

I don't really want to share the main dungeon with everyone until it's time for you to integrate - as version control of the main file(s) will be a nightmare is everyone just starts hacking away at it at once.

I absolutely agree with everything you are saying. No dungeon file for everyone and this upload for information.

But when I open the downloaded file (1.35 MB on my harddisk) it contains - nothing. It's absolutely empty. Is there something wrong with the download or is my WinRAR unable to handle this .7z file or is something broken on my machine or WTF????

Ahh - LOL. Erm, I used 7zip for windows to compress it and it seems fine here. Here is a standard .zip file of the same stuff.

The file should have 1 424 070 bytes and contain models, textures, animations, and lots of lua files.

Hello ! Can I use some of the assets defined in this download in my mod ? Mostly the furniture which are awesome. If yes, who is the crafter I should credit ?

Hey Jhaelen - good point, I should make a CREDITS.txt file in the mod assets to keep track of what came from where (outside of the rooms). Most of the assets are just from already released packs (urban town wallset etc).

However, the town props (bed, shelves, bookcase, etc) are new for the ORRR3. You are more than welcome to use them in your mods, but I intend on packaging them up and putting them on the Nexus when they are less scrappy and there are a few more items, so you might want to wait a while until they are done.
