Hey guys, can I ask you for some help, please?
I would like to finish my room asap, but I stil missing dragon-breath particle.... I know how to do it, but It will take an hour or two I can spend on polishing scene. Can any of you do the small fawor to me and write dragonmreath particle definition, please?
Based on the firebal or torch, optimized on emited particles numbers, but still "massive enough" - to achieve effect like this:
Ignore shield and knight. Just fire breath in one direction. Smaller on the beggining, bigger on the end and don't worry about the distance - it can go for 5+ cells, no problem), but it shall be great, if fire and smoke particle will disapear for example between 3rd and 5th cell. It's easy, but there is a lot of polishing and I need 2 of them - first as unlimited duration and second with cca 5 sec duration. Please paste code just here in thread or in my monster thread. Thanks a lot for your assistance!
Here is a dragon plugin. It's free for all, so all of you can try to play with.
But please, remember, plugin is only limited package, without sounds, movement animations etc...
It's just dumy to design particle effect, but still you can have a lot of fun with it - and I ecourage you to try do play with it and share you work

For the room, it has to fit in a MAXIMUM space of 9x9 over 3 floors. This means it can be way smaller if you wish, only one or two floors, it's up to you. Most rooms have one entrance/exit, but one room has a different exit from its entrance, so again, it's whatever suits your room design.
The "goal" of each room is to give the player one "swirl_key" as a reward for completing it. The player needs those to open gates and proceed further in the dungeon, and the keys can also be used to unlock bonus areas/puzzles.
Thanks Diarmuid! After creating something far too big over far too long (as a way to learn), I'd rather focus on something very small this time. So looks fun.

I'd suggest you start by playing some of the rooms already done to get a feeling of it, if you wish. Being in the project, you get to play it before everyone else . Do it in the editor, though, as things aren't balanced properly yet, and K-ing monsters is a must on the middle and upper chambers floors.
Wanted to let the guys on the LotNR channel know that my net is down till the weekend, if anyone needs to ask or convey anything to me, I check in here a couple of times a day on my phone. I could get skype on my phone but our convo takes like 60 megs lol! Anyway, I should be back up n running this weekend or so (barring catastrophe)
