@Arctor: Y'know, it's kind of amusing... The legendary first gate of Dungeon Master, as depicted on your avatar, looks deceptively like an emblem taken from Transformers. Now we have a tribute to DM with Legend of Grimrock - and with so many people misreading the title for "Grimlock", we have again a connection to Transformers. Looks like the fates of Dungeon Master and Transformers are forever intertwined. Autobots, crawl out

Re: Community event suggestion
I think you're on to something! Of course, Atari ST low-res being what it was, in order to create a square avatar I had to distort that gate on the vertical, thus stretching it, and making it even more Transformer-y!TΛPETRVE wrote:Slightly off-topic:

Making monsters fight amongst themselves would be fun i should imagine!Arctor wrote:Would be a nice way to sabotage a group of monsters. Switch the allegiance of one in the back row and watch as he skewers his mates from the rear. Not possibly fun - that would be extremely insanely possibly fun.Codpiece of Doom wrote:3. Temporarily enthralling creatures to do your bidding, this one might be impractical as i cant really see how it would work from a first person perspective, however could possibly be fun!

Re: Community event suggestion
Ive had a further thought
on the issue of a suitable prize, how about a framed piece of Grimrock concept art signed by the Team, now that would be very nice!

Maybe the prize could be a playable Transformer race? I want Optimus Prime in my party!

Not sure 'Almost Human' could afford the licensing deal on that one! Also I dont think Optimus Prime would give much elbow room for other party members. I think this is a challenge to the modders out there!
Anyway now i just have a succession of bad movies directed by Michael bay in my head now so thanks for that
