Playing Screen Layout

I saw this screen layout and was wondering why it it not available ingame, I love it I would like to play the game like this.

Maybe it's an older version of the UI that was dropped?

Yeah, that old version ate up a significant portion of the screen space with the UI. They opted to minimize the HUD to a corner to allow for full screen gaming, much better and more immersive for most people, although a minority like yourself might prefer the other way

That is a shame, it could have been laid out or an option for as in the old original Dungeon Master layout.

They probably thought it was too ugly and that no one would use it anyway.
