Hello,
as topic says, on setting 'high' i only see torches.
I'm using old AMD Dualcore, 3GB of memory, Radeon HD 6850 card, latest card driver as of today,
Grimrock 1.3.6.
Antialias etc, driver setting don't affect it. No way. Only setting rendering to 'low'
results in full vision and playability.
I've seen the same issue with torches only in older posts of last year, maybe autumn 2012.
I would like to use high, besides rendering as well because it allows switching back to Desktop.
Like i did just to be able to write this.

Since it 's WinXP: did you apply both(!) the DirectX and C++ Redistributional update delivered with LoG?
In case you did: the latest Radeon driver is a Catalyst 13, right? Did you try with version 12?

well, i do remember DX install, yes, but don't recall wether i was asked about any C option.
There's four versions of Visual C in Software List, three v9.0.3xx (2008) and one v10.0.4.xx something (2010).
About Catalyst, i don't remember the previous version i had, something xx.08.2012 or later.
I updated today to 13.1 - no difference.
